Here is my card for today's colour challenge - certainly celery, pixie pink and apricot appeal... I just purchased the fun stamp yesterday and had to use it today. It also qualifies for the "Dare to Get Dirty Challenges". Kristy Lee - stamped sentiment on vellum - the how back panel has a vellum overlay over bg. Eggette - spread your wings -#my lovely chickens#, Pickletree- born to be wild - #chickens#, Deborah Lynne - texture - sewing, bling, ribbon, wooden flowers, pearls, stickles, Lauraly - tie one on - #Ribbon#, Rainy - sketch, Gbedwright - dp by me, BevMom - sewing, basilefamily - inspiration #colour inspired#, craftycaro - anything but average - card is 5"x8 1/2".
Chickens were stamped on Strathmore Bristol Vellum with stazon jet black and water coloured with reinkers. Stamped the grass and flowers using the "Watercolour Mini's). Added the rhinestones and pearl earrings. I stamped the tree dp using Hero Arts "Design Block Tree" Stamped in CC - I thumped on Old Olive to some of the leaves. Stamped sentiment with stazon jet black. Stamped tree again, cut out portion to spotlight smaller tree section. Made middle strip with chicken and tree section. Matted with black. Sewed edges, Added ribbon strip and bow. Made small square, attached the wooden flowers and apricot 1/2 pearls.
Thanks to America - for the gingham ribbon... have to find some more - I used the last little bit on this card...
